Remote capture allows the scanning and processing of low volume check payments remotely through Bill2Pay's system from a company's back-office and walk-up locations.
This feature is ideal for companies who receive a small volume of check payments or existing Bill2Pay clients with small volume remote locations.
The physical check payments are scanned using a simple image capture device and added to a digital file which is transmitted to Bill2Pay. The digital file is processed into two outputs:
- An Image Cash Letter ( ICL ) that is deposited to your bank account.
- A second file containing all payment posting information is transmitted to your acounts receivable system.
